Apple has introduced the fourth iteration of iOS 18 public beta with many customization options and new improved features for its iPhone users.
This recent update is also available for iPadOS 18 and macOS Sequoia, offering a similar experience across Apple devices.
What’s new in iOS 18 Public Beta 4?
One of the most anticipated changes in the iOS 18 Public Beta 4 is the dedicated Bluetooth toggle in the Control Center.
Previously, the Bluetooth toggle was buried within the connectivity menu, making it complicated to access.
Now, with a single tap, users can quickly turn Bluetooth on or off, enhancing the user experience and saving time.
This toggle can also be added to any Control Center page or even replace the camera or flashlight icon on the lock screen.
In iPhone 15 Pro and Pro Max, users can now assign Bluetooth control to the convenient Action button.
It’s great news for Apple music lovers, who can now notice a significant change—the “Browse” tab is revamped as “New.”
The content layout within the ‘New’ section has been reorganized, promising a more delightful and efficient browsing experience for Apple music lovers.
This new iteration has successfully addressed the issue with the Dark Mode notifications, providing a more secure and seamless experience for users.
Previously, notification icons would remain in light mode even when enabled Dark Mode. This update ensures a consistent visual experience with darker notification icons that blend seamlessly with the Dark Mode aesthetic.
iOS 18 Public Beta 4 offers more personalization options and more control over app icon tinting.
With this update, you can customize app icon colors to match the wallpaper and create a unique aesthetic for the home screen.
For that, you will have to tap & long-press the app icon then select the ‘Edit Home Screen ‘ option. Next select the color that best matches your wallpaper.
