    1. State of Play September 2023

    Sony held the PlayStation State of Play presentation on September 14, 2023, and there were some big announcements for fans of the PlayStation platform like:

    The sequel of the Final Fantasy VII Remake trilogy is on February 29, 2024.

    The sequel to Marvel’s Spider-Man will feature an even bigger map, nearly doubling the size of Marvel’s New York City.

    The DLC for the remake of Resident Evil 4  will be released on September 21, 2023.

    The upcoming VR2 mode for Resident Evil 4 has a release window of winter 2023.

    1. Threads Now Lets You Quote Posts on the Web


    Threads rolled out a new feature on September 14, 2023, that allows users to quote posts from other users & add their own thoughts and commentary.

    To quote a post on the web, simply click the two arrows icon below the post and then select the “Quote” option.

    This will create a new post that includes the original post quoted at the top. You can add text & images to the new post before posting it.

    The quote feature is also a great way to start discussions on Threads. Meta will likely introduce more such features to bring back some lost users.

    The Unicode Consortium has approved Emoji 15.1, as reported by Emojiedia.

    This new version of the emoji standard includes two new emoji that will be popular with users: head shakes & a phoenix.

    The head shake emojis are a great way to express disbelief, surprise, or disapproval.

    The phoenix emoji represents a mythical bird that is reborn from its own ashes, so it can be used to represent resilience, hope, and new beginnings.

    These new emojis will be available on major platforms like iOS, Android, and Windows sometime early next year.

    HP has announced the Spectre Fold, a foldable PC with a 17-inch OLED display.

    It is the world’s thinnest and smallest 17-inch foldable PC, measuring 8.5mm thick when unfolding.

    The Spectre Fold can be used in three modes: tablet, laptop, & desktop.

    The Spectre Fold is powered by an Intel Core i7-1250U processor,  1TB of storage and 16GB of RAM.

    It also has a 5MP front-facing camera and a 10MP rear-facing camera.

    The Spectre Fold has a battery life of up to 12 hours for laptop mode and 11 hours for desktop mode and is available for pre-order now for $4,999.99. It is expected to ship in early 2024.

    1. Meta’s Horizon Worlds Social Platform Finally Coming to Mobile and the Web

    Meta’s Horizon Worlds social platform, previously exclusive to VR headsets, is finally coming to mobile and the web.

    The company announced the news on September 14, 2023, and said that the rollout will begin in early access.

    To start, a few people can access Super Rumble, a mini-game, through the Meta Quest app on Android.
