The OnePlus 12 is expected to launch soon, succeeding the OnePlus 11 model released this February.
The company has confirmed the details of the upcoming flagship model.
The OnePlus 12 is expected to launch with a similar design language as the preceding OnePlus 11 model. OnePlus claimed that the OnePlus 12 is the world’s first phone to have a DisplayMate A+ rated X1 “Oriental Screen” with a resolution of 2K and a peak brightness level of 2,600 nits.
The “Oriental Screen” is claimed to be backed by Oppo’s first-generation Display P1 chip and comes with 18 DisplayMate A+ records.
The OnePlus 12 is confirmed to come with a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC, the latest & most powerful chipset from Qualcomm.
It has scored 2,110,808 points on the AnTuTu benchmarking platform, which is significantly higher than the OnePlus 11’s score of 1,647,385 points.
This suggests that the OnePlus 12 will offer a significant performance boost in all areas, including CPU, GPU, memory, and user experience.
The OnePlus 12 is tipped to ship with Android 14-based OxygenOS 14. OxygenOS is known for its clean and straightforward user interface, and it is one of the most popular custom Android ROMs
It is expected to have a 5,400mAh battery with 100W wired fast charging and 50W wireless charging support.
For optics, the OnePlus 12 is expected to get a Sony IMX966 50-megapixel sensor, a 48-megapixel sensor with an ultra-wide telephoto lens, and a 64-megapixel sensor with 3x optical zoom and hybrid zoom camera.
OnePlus 12 is rumored to launch in December 2023 in China and is priced starting at around $799.
It is also expected to be available in various colors, including black, white, and green.
