Windows 11 Update boosts the performance of Ryzen CPUs
    Posted in

AMD and Microsoft have launched a new Windows 11 update that significantly improves Ryzen CPU performance.
KB5041587 is available for Windows 11 23H2 and includes optimizations for the CPU scheduler.
AMD Ryzen 5000, 7000, and 9000 series CPUs can have a massive performance boost with Windows 11 23H2 – KB5041587 update.
The performance improvements are comparable to those in the upcoming Windows 11 24H2 update.
Even older Ryzen 5000 and 7000 series CPUs can benefit from the update and noticeably improve their performance.
As per reports, the tests show significant frame rate increases in games for Ryzen 7000 series CPUs.
This new update may also improve performance in non-gaming and graphic-intensive workloads and increase productivity.
However, the performance boost may be less noticeable in heavily multi-threaded workloads or single-threaded tasks.
