Reasons For Not To Settle for the iPhone 15’s Dim Display and Wait for the iPhone 16’s Brighter OLED Screen

Reasons you should not settle for the iPhone 15's dim display and wait till the launch of iPhone 16 with a much brighter OLED Screen
    Posted in

The iPhone 15 launch is just around the corner and it is rumored to have some kind of a similar display to the iPhone 14.

This means that it will have a maximum brightness of 1200 nits. While this is still a good brightness, it is less bright than some of its competitors, like the Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra, with a maximum brightness of 1750 nits.

So, should you buy the iPhone 15 when it launches, or should you wait for the launch of the iPhone 16?

Rumors suggest it could have a much brighter OLED screen with a maximum brightness of 1500 nits. So, this can be one of the brightest smartphones in the prevailing market.

Of course, you must consider other factors when choosing between iPhone 15 and 16. Here are some potential reasons to skip the much-awaited iPhone 15 and wait for iPhone 16 next year!

The iPhone 16’s OLED screen is expected to be brighter than the iPhone 15’s.

This is based on the MLA display technology that uses billions of tiny lenses to improve the brightness & contrast of the display screen.

This means the iPhone 16’s screen can showcase brighter images & videos compared to the iPhone 15 series, even in direct sunlight.

In addition to being brighter, the iPhone 16’s OLED screen is rumored to be more energy efficient as the MLA technology reduces the amount of light reflecting back from the screen,

This means that the iPhone 16’s battery will last longer.

Overall, the iPhone 16’s OLED screen can be significantly improved over the iPhone 15’s. If you want a phone with a bright, clear, & energy-efficient display, then the iPhone 16 can be a better choice.

The iPhone 16’s screen may have a higher refresh rate, making scrolling & animations much smoother.

The iPhone 16’s screen may have a higher resolution, making text & images sharper compared to other iPhone series.

The iPhone 16’s screen may have a wider color gamut, making the hues more vibrant.
