    1)  Microsoft Announces Copilot… For The Fourth Time?

    Microsoft has announced the Surface Laptop Studio 2, its latest flagship laptop.

    The new device features a number of upgrades over the original, including 13th Gen Intel Core processors, NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4050 and 4060 graphics cards, and an Intel NPU for improved video calling and AI performance.

    The Surface Laptop Studio 2 also comes with a number of new software features, including Windows Copilot, which uses AI to help users write code, translate languages, and generate text.

    The Surface Laptop Studio 2 will be available for purchase starting on October 11, 2023. Prices start at $1,599.

    Moving over to the Surface Laptop Go 3, the new model features a few key updates, including the 12th Gen Intel Core i5-1235U processor, up to 16GB of RAM, & up to 512GB of storage.

    Microsoft also claims that the Surface Laptop Go 3 can last up to 15 hours on a single charge, a significant improvement over the previous model’s 13.5-hour battery life.

    The Surface Laptop Go 3 is available for pre-order now & will start shipping on October 3rd. The price starts at $799 for the base model with 4GB of RAM & 128GB of storage.

    The Surface Go 4 is paired with 8GB LPDDR5 RAM & up to 256 GB storage and is powered by quad core Intel N200 processor. It comes with the same USB -C port, microSD card reader, 2 1080 cameras, 3.5mm headphone jack and 10.5 inch display.

    3) Microsoft Bing Gains Support for DALL-E 3

    Microsoft announced on September 21, 2023 that it will soon add support for OpenAI’s DALL-E 3 image generator to its Bing search engine.

    This will allow to generate images right in Bing Chat by simply typing a few sentences.

    DALL-E 3 is a powerful AI model that can generate realistic images from texts.

    It is the successor to the original DALL-E model, which was released in 2021.

    Microsoft has not yet announced any specific date for when DALL-E 3 support will be added to Bing, but it says that the feature will be available soon.

    4)  Android Phones Get Webcam Capabilities In The Latest Beta

    Your phone’s camera will then be registered as a webcam on your PC, & you can use it in any video calling or as streaming software.

    This “new” feature comes off the back of the Continuity Camera feature launched alongside iOS 16 last year. Given the sorry state of laptop cameras in 2023 and breakthroughs in camera technology, this is definitely a good addition.

    5)  Apple iPhone 15 Series Goes on Sale, Loyalists Stand in Long Queues to Get Their Devices

    Apple’s latest iPhone 15 series, went on sale today, and loyal fans lined up outside Apple Stores worldwide to get their hands on the new devices.

    The iPhone 15 series features four new models: the iPhone 15, iPhone 15 Plus, iPhone 15 Pro, and iPhone 15 Pro Max.

    The new phones feature a number of upgrades, including a new A17 Bionic chip, a more powerful camera system, and a longer-lasting battery.

    The iPhone 15 Pro Max was the most popular model, with many fans eager to get their hands on the new phone’s larger display and more powerful camera system.

    7)  iOS 16.7 Arrives for Older iPhones and People Who Don’t Want to Upgrade

    Apple has released iOS 16.7 for older iPhones and iPads, including devices not eligible for iOS 17. The update includes security fixes & performance improvements.

    iOS 16.7 is available for iPhone 8 and later, iPad Pro, iPad Air (3rd generation & later), iPad (5th generation & later), iPad mini (5th generation & later)

    To install iOS 16.7, just open Settings > General > Software Update.

    If you are using an older version of iPhone or iPad, update to iOS 16.7 as soon as possible to keep your device safe and secure.

    8) Baldur’s Gate 3’s ‘Big’ Third Patch Finally Lets You Change Appearance

    Larian Studios’ Baldur’s Gate 3 has received its third major patch, which adds the long-awaited ability to change your character’s appearance mid-game.

    This is a highly requested feature that players have been asking for since launch, and it’s great to see that Larian has finally delivered.

    You’ll need to find the Magic Mirror in your camp to change your appearance.

    Once you see it, you can interact with it to open up the character customization screen. You can change your character’s hairdo, makeup, voice, and pronouns but not your race or body type.

    In addition to this, patch 3 also includes a number of other fixes & improvements. For example, the patch fixes several performance issues in Act 3 and adds a number of new accessibility features.
